Essential Job Functions:
- Take the lead to promote a top-notch, high quality customer experience selling new Honda’s and pre-owned vehicles
- Determine each customer's vehicle needs and wants by asking questions and listening
- Conduct effective walk-around presentations demonstrating vehicle’s features and building value in product
- Follow up with potential prospects and adhere to a high integrity approach with every customer
- Provide every customer and potential customer with Legendary Service®
- Generate ideas to exceed sales goals and demonstrate best revenue- generating practices
- Serve as a liaison between customers and all departments including finance, service and parts
- Stay on top of market trends, Honda’s vehicles and current dealership inventory
- Be positive, enthusiastic and have strong communication with customers, co-workers and management
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Professional appearance and demeanor necessary
- Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in grammar and writing business emails, etc.
- Have strong motivational skills and ability to work independently and as a team
- Must be detail oriented with desire to handle situations in the proper manner
- Sales experience is beneficial, but not required for the right candidate
- Provide excellent customer service by displaying sincerity, enthusiasm and strong communication skills with customers, peers and management
- Basic computer and typing skills to review inventory and enter customer information
