This hybrid crossover combines a powerful, yet efficient powertrain with family-oriented features and standard advanced safety features to make it a well-rounded option in its segment. For an everyday family hauler that will also reduce the number of stops you make at the gas station, consider the 2020 CR-V Hybrid.
Eco-Friendly, Capable Performance
Under the hood of the 2020 CR-V Hybrid, you will find a powertrain system that is both efficient and capable. The CR-V Hybrid combines two electric motors with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine to offer a peak total system output of 212 horsepower – an increase from the regular CR-V’s 190 horsepower. Along with this increased power, it is also estimated that the CR-V Hybrid will offer a 50% increase in EPA city fuel-efficiency numbers.
The CR-V Hybrid will also feature standard Real-Time AWD™, the first time that Honda has offered this system with its two-motor hybrid powertrain in the United States. It will come with Sport, Econ, and EV drive modes, as well, allowing you to pick and choose the mode to suit your driving mood.
The CR-V is considered a family-friendly vehicle, and its hybrid variant is no exception. For the 2020 model year, the CR-V Hybrid comes with a range of family-friendly features to make your on-the-go lifestyle easier. This includes an available hands-free access power tailgate, which will allow you to access the trunk even when your hands are full, and an available wireless phone charger that will help you easily keep your electronic devices charged. The available Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration will also help you stay in touch while driving, giving you access to your favorite smartphone apps directly on your CR-V Hybrid’s touchscreen.
Safety Comes Standard
No matter the CR-V Hybrid trim level you choose, you will get the Honda Sensing® suite of driver-assistance technologies as standard. This suite combines input from radar sensors and multiple cameras to help increase your confidence behind the wheel. You will get standard technologies like a Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™), a Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and a Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) to help you be more aware of your surroundings.
