The 2019 Honda HR-V is available at five trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring. All trims are available with standard front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive, except the Touring, which comes standard with all-wheel drive.
The 2019 HR-V is equipped with a 1.8-liter i-VTEC® four-cylinder engine that can produce up to 141 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque. To help you save on gas, this engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission with Sport Mode, allowing the HR-V to get an EPA-estimated 34 mpg on the highway.* The standard powertrain comes with front-wheel drive but you can also opt for all-wheel drive if you’d like added control on harsh terrain. Performance-wise, the HR-V has a MacPherson Strut suspension as well as an optional De Dion Rear Suspension on AWD models.
The interior of the HR-V can seat up to five people, while the split-folding seats open up even more room. In fact, when in Utility Mode, the HR-V has 58.8 cubic feet of cargo space. You can fold the front passenger seat as well, allowing you to store objects up to 8 feet in length within the HR-V. The push-button start allows you to easily get in and go while available features like HondaLink®, power-adjustable seating, and leather trim add a touch of sophistication.
Standard safety features on the 2019 Honda HR-V include exterior elements like LED Daytime Running Lights, an Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ body structure, and a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera with Guidelines. Inside, available smart systems from Honda Sensing® include Collision Mitigation Braking System™, Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keeping Assist System. With all of these intuitive technologies working together, you’ll feel supremely safe behind the wheel of the HR-V.
